A favorite thing for us to do in the spring is ride through Mrs. Lee's Gardens. It is a love story that is self perpetuating. Once upon a time a man loved his wife so much that he bought her a train car full of daffodil bulbs and planted them all over their 826 acres! The Garden is only open February-March when the daffodils are blooming and is free to the public. You can check out the web site with this link and I highly recommend a picnic lunch to add to the day's pleasures! We went to eat mudbugs and shrimp in Big Sandy after our tour, but a bucket of chicken would have been grand! Kanga http://www.daffodilgarden.com/daffodils_home.htm
