Have we all come out of hibernation now that spring is here? Done all the Honey Do's? You have worked on the bike, the house and yard. NOW WE CAN RIDE AND HAVE FUN. I don't know about ya'll but my dance card is full every weekend thru December 2009.  The Longriders have spruced up the club house, made all the plaques for the 3 Day Thaw, which will be over by the time you read this. I will follow up next time with pictures.  Peenut and I rode over to Groesbeck for Texas Independence Day Rally. We met lots of new people also had the chance of seeing some of our old friends Pat & Ed who let us share their cooler for our beer.  We didn't have enough room on the trike for beer and clothes. It takes space for two women clothes for three days. We had a great time, enjoyed the poker run all stops at a Bar and food at A Wrecking Yard. The wild flowers, Redbud and Wisteria were beautiful.

The following weekend we rode to the Gypsy's Rally in Waco. Here again we didn't know any one when we first arrived, but we had the best of luck, we met some of The Liberty Hill Gypsy's.  They know how to have a good time. We met them on the poker run and again every stop was at a bar. It went down hill from there. Peenut and I saw things we have never seen before and we thought we had seen and heard everything. Have you seen men riding bikes in KILTS regimental style? Needless to say the wind does blow.

One of the guys was named Dragon, after many conversations about our names and how we all got them we asked him how he got his. He says wait on the patio a few minutes and I will send someone for you. After a bit they said come in. Along the bar was a row of 11 beer mugs filled half full of beer. On top of the mugs balanced 11 shot glasses of dark liqueur and then a layer of what I think was Everclear. Dragon then took a big  swig of the Everclear and then lit it with fire at which time he spewed the FLAMES out of his mouth along the line of shot glasses and they all lit up with fire, he then taped the end shot glass and they all fell flaming like domino's into the mugs of beer. And that is how Dragon got his name. Every one got a beer of flaming Dragon's Fire.  A special Thank You to the Liberty Hill Gypsy's for an afternoon of entertainment and fun.  I have a few pictures for you to see. I hope you enjoy them. I will have something for you on The Three Day Thaw next month.

AS ALWAYS RIDE SAFE AND HAVE FUN,

SISTER G
